The session started off with Moret and Noghouth arriving at Falcon's Hollow to attend a meeting with Thuldrin Kreed. The local mayor, and major business manager of Falcon's Hollow. They entered first, and then Markas arrived some thirty minutes later.
Thuldrin Kreed made a deal with both parties, as Moret and Noghouth had been sent by the mysterious fey queen, Syntira, to do Thuldrin's bidding so they can achieve a peaceful accord with the Fey of the Darkmoon Wood and the Lumber Consortium. Markas' motivation was to get paid, for whatever job he needed to have done.
Thuldrin got down to brass tax, and said that his son, Jurin Kreed, had gone missing and required their help in finding him, along with four other children that disappeared at the exact same time. They agreed, and they started on their investigation.
The band of unexpected and uncooperative investigators searched throughout town, learning of who the children were and the events that happened that led up to the disappearance. They found out that a young half-orc, Fyst, had dared their little group into going to Elara's Halfway House.
Markas went to Thuldrin Kreed, who discovered it was nearly time for the full moon to come, and he demanded 250gp in compensation in order to carry out with the task. Thuldrin, begrudingly, agreed and they set off to Elara's Halfway House a mile and a half away.
There, they discovered the remains of the burned down orphanage that was Elara's Halfway House and discovered a cellar that was melted shut by the fire. They smashed through it, and found what looks to be the caretaker of the orphanage's mummified remains. They searched around and found torture instruments made of silver, but they were then attacked by a large spider and a spider swarm.
They made it out without difficulty, and discovered a young girl by the name of Jeva who said that she had lived in the Halfway House before it burned down. She has been on her own ever since. Jeva led the group of investigators to the camp the group of children made, and discovered that it was attacked, likely by kobolds judging from what the girl claims she saw and the footprints on the ground. There were drag marks leading further into the forest itself, towards the north-west toward's Droskar's Crag.
They continued to follow the drag marks in the sun-blotting forest, and when night came, they realized they were being hunted. They were attacked by the Jeva, who had been a werewolf who put up a tremendous fight against our group of investigators and bit Moret with her lycanthropic bite.
They now continue forward, following the tracks, but not rested, towards wherever the kobolds took the children themselves.
